  Sebastiao Salgado The image is about a soldier of some sort. One thing that I like about this image is how it captures the hidden stress and emotions that occur before a battle. One element of art used in the image is color, or the lack of it, and one principle of design used is contrast. One interesting thing that I learned about the photographer was that he was born in 1944, which goes to show just how relevant photography can stay over a long time. Kwasi Boyd-Bouldin The image is about living in a transresidential environment. I like how familiar the image feels, and it is the most relatable of the three I chose. One element of art used in the image is form, and one principle of design used is harmony.
