Principles of Design
Movement Emphasis In the 3 photos I took for movement, motion is captured, but more specifically implied motion is captured. The crow frozen in the air, the speedwalk performed by Darren, or the jump made by Derek. In the 3 photos I took of emphasis, there is something standing out in all of them. The blue recycling bin surrounded by monotone stairs, the crow high atop the light, blending in, seeming to be an extension of it, and the milk carton that is slightly more lively of a green than the plants. All of these photos capture movement or emphasis, both of which are important principles of design.
Happy
This image represents happiness to me because it reminds me of my childhood. I have had this stuffed animal for as long as I can remember, and it was a gift to me from one of my childhood friends. I have many memories with this item.
Element of Texture
Texture varies greatly from one object to the next, and that is captured throughout these images. In the first image, you can see the smooth, glossy tiles, but when they separate, it gets rough. In the second image, you can almost feel the residue left over from the chipping rust. In the third image, the tree is course and soft in different areas. In the fourth image, there is a multitude of bumps that unevenly spread across the door. In the fifth image, there are ridges, that seem to almost be corroding, sharply jutting out from the wall.
